Justice is one of the foundational principles enshrined in the Constitution of India. The Preamble assures that every citizen shall enjoy social, economic, and political justice. However, achieving this objective requires removing barriers such as poverty, illiteracy, and social exclusion that prevent many from accessing legal remedies. Recognizing this challenge, the Constitution, through provisions like Article 39A, makes it mandatory for the State to provide free legal aid to weaker sections of society, ensuring justice on the basis of equal opportunity.

Mission & Vision:
  • To foster an inclusive and accessible legal system that ensures fair, equitable, and meaningful justice for marginalized and disadvantaged communities.
  • To empower excluded and underserved groups by providing effective legal representation, promoting legal literacy, and bridging the gap between available legal rights and the people entitled to them.
  • To enhance the efficiency and reach of Lok Adalats and other Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, enabling informal, swift, cost-effective, and practical resolution of disputes while alleviating the burden on the formal judiciary.
