As the Director of the Institution's Innovation Council at Swami Vivekananda University, I am pleased to present our institutional progress in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Since University's establishment, we have made significant strides in building a robust innovation ecosystem.
Our council, though young, has established core initiatives focusing on student innovation, research development, and industry collaboration. We have successfully implemented a basic innovation framework that aligns with the National Innovation and Startup Policy while accounting for our institution's developing status.
In our initial five years, we have established essential innovation infrastructure including a dedicated innovation lab and a modest incubation center.
Looking ahead, we have outlined a pragmatic growth strategy for 2025-26, prioritizing the expansion of our innovation capabilities through enhanced industry collaborations and increased research opportunities for our students and faculty.
We welcome continued engagement from all as we build upon these foundational elements to strengthen our innovation ecosystem.
