
MTech in ECE is a full-time two-year (four semesters) program.The program has been designed by SVU in the area of wireless communication and embedded systems. On successful completion of the program a student will be able to contribute to advanced wireless communication system, including 5G systems, cognitive and collaborative communication, satellite communication, embedded systems, IoT and sensor networks etc.
The program aim also includes initiation and development of research projects on wireless communication systems in collaboration with leading industry, Research and Development organization and academic institutions. In this program students make ability to develop capabilities in experimental /theoretical/simulation-based research methods, analysis of data, and drawing relevant conclusions for the scholarly writing and presentation. Candidates will also be able to design workable and reliable solutions to complex issues and adjust swiftly to new technologies. The program is valuable to build up the problem-solving ability of candidates so that they can apply the ideas and techniques instructed amid the course to testing real-life projects.

The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is B.Tech /B.E in Electronics and Communication or equivalent stream.

VLSI & Microelectronics : M. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with specialisation in VLSI Design & Embedded System is a two-year programme designed to make students excel in the developing field of VLSI Design & Embedded System. The programme curriculum is focused on VLSI Design & Embedded System design including algorithms, hardware description, languages, system architectures, physical designs, verification techniques, simulation & synthesis, low power design techniques, and mixed mode design methodologies.
Under this programme, students gain knowledge about various topics that cut across different domains, starting from the lowest level of physical devices to the top level of application development.
