Swami Vivekananda University was established in the year 2019 by RERF Trust and over the last couple of years grown in rapid strides to transform it into a reputed University. RERF is lead educational conglomerate in the state of West Bengal and leading Private-sector Educational Group with over 28 institutions dedicated to impart demand driven education in Pure and Applied Science, Engineering, Technology, Management, Agriculture, Life Science, Allied Health Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Journalism and Mass communication and related areas with high quality consciousness in various Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral programs.
Collinear to its goal: Excellence-Innovation-Entrepreneurship - the University has taken several new educational initiatives in the recent past. The prime focus continues to drive us towards achieving increased standard of education and wider research out-reach program. It is imperative, therefore, to be both creative & innovative in the approach to lead the University towards a University of Excellence.
It is located in its sprawling 18 acres lush 'Green Campus' at the Township of Barrackpore with a smooth tripartite connectivity of rail-road-air, Within 15 kilometers from Airport, little distance from the junction point Wireless More of Barrackpore-Barasat and Kalyani Expressway, in a close vicinity from Barrackpore railway station.
Swami Vivekananda University is moving forward by collaborating and hand-shaking with top Universities and Institutions of the country and state. The Institution is a learning centric environment with authority always having careful concern for high quality and standards. Faculty and Staff Development has been given a highest priority through hosting R & D events like National and International Conference/ Workshop/ Symposium/ Seminar on regular basis.
The ICALF serves as a hub for extensive innovations and research contributions with a focus on demand-driven research, development, and innovation. It serves as a forum for exchanging innovative concepts based on in-depth study. It is anticipated that it will be a collection of new ideas and original research from renowned and up-and-coming experts in the field.
