Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English
Four years with the books that still matter, Chaucer to Toni Morrison, the Romantics, the modernists, Indian writing in English. That is the spine of the course. Around it we read outward, into film, history, philosophy and the digital humanities and AI.
Research starts in the first semester, not the last. Students learn to frame a question, read an archive and write a paper worth presenting. Several present before they graduate.
Alongside the core papers, students train for the work English graduates actually do: publishing, editing, content writing, journalism, teaching. Internships and live briefs from publishing houses are built into the programme.
