Department Of Agriculture
The School of Agriculture, established in 2020, aims at achieving excellence in academics and research. Bachelor’s degree courses in Agriculture, Agricultural engineering and Master’s degree courses in Agribusiness management are offered by the School. The school has designed dynamic and focused curricula as per the guidelines of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to develop well-trained manpower for academics, agro-based industry and extension oriented applications. The Department of Agriculture at Swami Vivekananda University plays a critical role in advancing agricultural education, research, and outreach. Its primary objective is to equip students with knowledge and skills related to agriculture and contribute to the advancement of the agricultural sector through research and community engagement. Welcome to the Department of Agriculture. Our work here is less about teaching a fixed set of tools than about building the foundation that lets a graduate pick up the next one on their own, because every discipline changes faster than a syllabus can be revised.
Our faculty combine teaching with active research, and our laboratories stay open to students who want to build something beyond the prescribed practicals. Alongside the syllabus we run projects, industry visits and certification courses, so a student leaves with a record of work as well as a transcript.
