Ombudsperson

An institution is judged not only by what it teaches, but by how it answers when a student believes something has gone wrong. The Office of the Ombudsperson exists for that purpose: to give every student a hearing that is independent of the department or the office a grievance concerns.

Any student who feels a matter has not been dealt with fairly is encouraged to write to this office. A grievance brought in good faith is not a mark against anyone - it is one of the ways an institution learns where its own procedures fall short.

Every representation is considered on its merits and in confidence, without regard to who is involved or which office is concerned.
