World Environment Day

Swami Vivekananda University celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 with the theme “এক গাছ মায়ের নামে” (One Tree in Mother’s Name). The initiative encouraged students and members of the university community to plant trees in the name of their mothers and contribute to a greener future. Through tree plantation and environmental awareness activities, the programme promoted sustainability, ecological responsibility, and a commitment to protecting the environment for future generations.
