Journal of Advanced Mathematical Sciences

About the Journal

Swami Vivekananda University, an integral component of a prominent educational consortium, was established with the objective of fostering national development through research, innovation, and high-quality education. Spearheaded by Dr. Nandan Gupta, Chancellor, whose expertise and foresight have elevated Swami Vivekananda University into a premier institution of learning.

Mathematics, the abstract science encompasses numbers, quantities, formulas, logic, structures, shapes and the spaces in which they are contained and studying of their changes. The word “Mathematics” is originated from the ancient Greek word “máthēma” articulating "that which is learnt", or "what one gets to know" (more precisely “study of science”). Pure Mathematics concentrates on abstract and theoretical concepts in Mathematics to prove theorems and to research new realms of Mathematics and independent of any application outside of Mathematics. Antagonistically, Applied Mathematics presumes specialized knowledge for application of mathematical principles and theories to solve real-world problems clinged to several fields like Physics, Engineering, Medicine, Biology, Finance, Business, Computer science, and Industry. The Journal, “Journal of Advanced Mathematical Sciences” aims to embark on an insightful exploration through emphasizing papers that represent a substantial mathematical advancement and to be an effective medium for communicating significant developments in order to accommodate the broad scope of recent developments in the areas of specialization to colleagues and to scientists in related disciplines.

The Journal, entitled "Journal of Advanced Mathematical Sciences", affiliated with Swami Vivekananda University, is now available half-yearly starting from 2024. This peer-reviewed open-access e-journal encompasses various branches of Pure and Applied Mathematics.
