This journal follows a blind peer review model. The primary purpose of peer review is providing the Editor with the information needed to reach a fair, evidence-based decision that adheres to the journal's editorial criteria. Review reports should also help authors revise their paper such that it may be accepted for publication.
Editor's are expected to independently verify the contact details of reviewers suggested by authors or other third parties. Institutional email addresses should be used to invite peer reviewers wherever possible. Each manuscript should be reviewed by at least one reviewer who was not suggested by the author.
Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments and references.
Reviewers should respect the confidentiality of material supplied to them and not discuss unpublished manuscripts with colleagues or use the information in their own work.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal should be original works that have not been previously published or are under consideration elsewhere (except in abstract form). Articles published in the journal must not be republished in a similar form in any language without consent. Each author listed is expected to have significantly contributed to the study, following the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors' "Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals: Writing and Editing for Biomedical Publication". Although all manuscripts, except selected editorial features, undergo peer review, the accuracy and legitimacy of the scientific content are the authors' responsibility. Authors must also inform the editor in writing of any potential conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all research manuscripts, including investigative case series, have been thoroughly reviewed to ensure adequate protection of human subjects as required by their institutions. These protections should be detailed in the Methods section of the manuscript.
Once a manuscript is accepted, all authors must sign the journal’s applicable "Copyright Transfer Form." Authors intending to reproduce previously copyrighted materials, such as figures, tables, or direct quotations, must obtain written permission from the copyright owner(s) before publication. Securing this permission is the author’s responsibility.
When reporting experiments on animals, authors should indicate that they followed institutional and/or national guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals. This statement should be included in the Methods section.
International Journal of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences, expects all authors to disclose all financial relationships with all companies regarding products mentioned in a manuscript. If any author has any perceived conflicts, the author is expected to disclose any perceived conflicts.
